Description of the programme

• DAY 01: HANOI – HA LONG BAY (Lunch + Dinner)

  08:15: Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in the Old Quarter or at our cruise waiting lounge if you have booked the shuttle with us. The journey to Halong Bay takes approximately 2.5 hours, ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride as you travel to this stunning destination.

  09:50: You will have a short break on route for refreshments, lasting approximately 15 minutes. This comfort stop allows you to stretch your legs and enjoy a quick snack or beverage before continuing our journey to Halong Bay

  11:30 – 11:45: Upon arrival at Tuan Chau International Cruise Port, Essence Grand Cruise staff will welcome and assist you with check-in procedures. Please navigate to Tuan Chau International Port, where you will be presented to begin your unforgettable cruise experience

  12:30: You will check in at the Reception, on the first floor.

  13:00 – 14:30: Enjoy our welcome drink as you are introduced to the itinerary and safety policies. Lunch will be served in the Dining By The Bay restaurant, where you can savor delicious cuisine while taking in the beautiful views.

  15:30 – 16:30: Explore the Sung Sot Cave, one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay, discovered by a group of French explorers in 1901. The transfer boat and the Essence Grand Cruise staff team will take you to this stunning natural wonder, where you can marvel at its impressive formations and learn about its history.

  For guests who do not wish to participate in the exploration activities, you can enjoy our services on the cruise, including spa and massage treatments, a 4-season pool, a cigar lounge, kid clubs, and more. Relax and indulge in these amenities while taking in the breathtaking surroundings of Halong Bay.

  17:30 – 18:30: Enjoy the best moments of the day during Sunset and Happy Hour time, as the sun sets over the water between the dramatic limestone peaks and emerald-green coves. Choose and savor a selection of canapés and your favorite drinks at the Sky Bar, where you can fully immerse yourself in the stunning views and serene atmosphere.

  19:00: Tantalize your taste buds with a selection of both Western and Vietnamese cuisine at our restaurant for dinner. Enjoy a diverse menu that combines local flavors with international favorites, creating a memorable dining experience.

  21:00: After dinner, you can unwind in your suite, pamper yourself at the spa, or try squid fishing at the back of the boat on the first floor. Alternatively, spend time with fellow guests at the cigar and wine lounge, karaoke club, Sky Bar, or pool bar. Enjoy a restful night onboard the Essence Grand Halong Bay Cruise.

• DAY 02: HALONG BAY – LUON CAVE – HANOI (Br + Lunch)

  05:30 – 06:00: Experience the breathtaking sunrise over Heritage Bay, immersing yourself in the serene sound of the waves and setting the tone for a refreshing and relaxed day ahead.

  06:00 – 6:30: Start your day full of energy with meditation exercises on the sundeck, which help balance and regenerate your energy. Alternatively, you can engage in fitness exercises at the gym on the cruise ship to invigorate your morning.

  06:30 – 07:30: A light breakfast will be served in the restaurant.

  07:30 – 08:30: Our speed boat will transport you to Luon Cave, the ideal spot for a bamboo boat ride. Located on the northeastern part of Bo Hon Island, this picturesque destination offers a serene and immersive experience as you explore its natural beauty.

  09:30-10:30: Check out at our Reception Desk on the first floor, and then enjoy a delicious brunch buffet on the cruise as you continue your journey back to the port. It’s a perfect way to savor your final moments on board.

  10:45: Cruise back to the Essence Grand Cruise port.

  11:00: Start your trip back to Hanoi, with an estimated arrival time of approximately 14:30 – 14:45. This marks the end of your 2-day, 1-night journey.
